Reports: Eagles TE Dallas Goedert agrees to reworked deal

Tight end Dallas Goedert agreed to a reworked contract that will keep him with the Philadelphia Eagles through at least the 2025 season, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday.
ESPN reported that Goedert's new deal is for $10 million with the opportunity to earn $1 million more via incentives. He was slated to earn $14.25 million in the final season of the four-year, $57 million extension he signed in November 2021.
"Dallas is a heck of a player -- a heck of a player, a heck of a person," Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said when asked about Goedert after the 2025 NFL Draft, per the Philadelphia Inquirer.
"Certainly don't want to do anything publicly where we're discussing anyone's business, but I have so much respect for him. Been to two Super Bowls together and obviously would love him on this team."
Goedert, 30, had 42 catches for 496 yards and two touchdowns while playing in a career-low 10 games this past season because of injuries, including a stint on injured reserve to recover from a hamstring strain.
He added 17 receptions for 215 yards and a score in the playoffs, helping the Eagles capture their second Super Bowl title in franchise history.
Goedert has totaled 349 catches for 4,085 yards and 24 touchdowns in 93 career games (76 starts) since being selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of South Dakota State.
