Dodgers place RHP Evan Phillips (forearm) on IL

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-hander Evan Phillips on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with forearm discomfort.
The club recalled RHP Matt Sauer to replace Phillips on the 26-man roster.
Phillips, 30, last pitched Monday against the Miami Marlins. He has yet to post a record or ERA in 5 2/3 innings over seven relief appearances this season.
Phillips was just activated April 19. He had been out with a rotator cuff injury that cost him a spot on the team's World Series roster last season. Phillips was 5-1 with 18 saves and a 3.62 ERA in 61 relief appearances last season.
Sauer, 26, has appeared in two games this season, posting a 1-0 mark and 2.70 ERA in 6 2/3 innings. He appeared in 14 games with the Kansas City Royals in 2024, going 0-0 with a 7.71 ERA over 16 1/3 innings.
