Celtics star Jayson Tatum (wrist) doubtful for Game 3 at Magic

The Boston Celtics listed Jayson Tatum as doubtful for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series against the Orlando Magic due to the bone bruise in his right wrist.
The pain in his wrist was enough to prevent Tatum from even warming up Wednesday night, when the Celtics went on to beat the Magic 109-100 to take a 2-0 series lead. Game 3 is Friday night in Orlando.
The six-time All-Star small forward landed awkwardly on his right wrist early in the fourth quarter of Game 1 following a flagrant foul by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. His official diagnosis was a right distal radius bone bruise.
Tatum, the leading scorer for the defending champion Celtics in the 2024 NBA Finals, averaged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists in the regular season.
The Celtics also added guard Jrue Holiday to their injury report Thursday, citing a right hamstring strain and deeming him questionable.
Holiday, who averaged 11.1 ppg in his second season in Boston, had 11 points and six assists in Game 2.
